About Beth

Hello.  My name is Elizabeth M. Vuckovich.  I am a licensed massage therapist and licensed aesthetician.  I have been practicing different massage therapy techniques for over ten years and aesthetics for over eight years.

As a professional massage therapist I assist people with a wide variety of needs such as sports injuries, chronic back pain, stress, MS and fibromyalgia.  In order to help my clients more I decided, in 2002, to expand my education by earning ACE certification in personal training.  I use my added knowledge of kinesiology to help my clients live a safer and healthier lifestyle.

In 2003 I decided to expand my practice and became a licensed aesthetician with extensive training in skin care and cosmetic ingredients.  I offer many types of skin care to meet my clients individualized needs.  These include different types of facials, including oxygen facials and ultrasound.  I also do chemical peels, waxing and microdermabrasion.

When I decided to add permanent cosmetic enhancement to my aesthetics practice I contacted Deb Long who is the owner and sole instructor at Advanced Educator School of Permanent Cosmetic Makeup.  Deb has state and national certifications in permanent cosmetics and is licensed by the Illinois Department of Education. She is dedicated to providing the best education possible and worked 1:1 with me as I learned this skill, through hands on practice, under her guidance.  Since then, I have performed this procedure on more than 100 clients.

If you have questions about any of the services offered at Mind & Body Care, please feel free to contact me.  I would be happy to answer all of your questions. I began my business with just a few clients but because of their trust in me and referring their friends and family members, I now have over 200 valued clients.

About Lori

I am a licensed aesthetician.  I used to be a rock star.  I played drums in an all girl band called Catfight.  I have decided that it's time to grow up join the real world.  After thinking about what I want to be when I grow up, I decided that the most satisfying thing I could do would be to help people look their best and feel confident.  I graduated from Pivot Point Academy in January 2010, with honors.  I decided that I wanted to learn more so I attended a medical aesthetics program at True University in Chicago IL under the direction of Dr. Steven H Dayan.  I learned how to help people with problems such as acne and the dreaded curse of aging.  I also took a laser training course @ Thrive Skin Institute in Chicago. I currently work part time at Mind & Body Care doing custom facials, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, back treatments and waxing.
